Using multiple exterior-mounted cameras placed around the vehicle, the system gives drivers a full 360-degree top-down view directly on the large 12.9-inch touchscreen display, so you get a much clearer look at what’s happening around the SUV in real time. Safe Exit Assist
Sometimes, the little safety features end up being the ones you appreciate the most in everyday driving. Toyota really thought about that, and Safe Exit Assist is a perfect example. It’s there to help prevent one of the most common city-driving accidents: opening a door into the path of an approaching cyclist. It uses the RAV4’s rear side radar sensors to monitor traffic approaching from the back and side. If the system detects something coming toward the door as someone tries to open it, it sends out alerts to warn occupants before they step out, which is super useful when you’re parked in crowded areas where traffic can come up quickly from behind.
Safety Connect Services
No one plans for emergencies on the road, but it’s definitely nice knowing the 2026 Toyota RAV4 has extra support built in if something does happen.
